Why I return to YouTube yoga
YouTube yoga works well when I want consistency without making the logistics of getting to class the hardest part. It gives me a way to practice at home, reset during travel, or fit in something shorter when the day is already full.
The channels I return to most are the ones that feel clear, calm, and sustainable rather than performative.
Two teachers I recommend
Yoga With Adriene is the channel I would recommend first to almost anyone. Her classes feel accessible, friendly, and easy to return to, especially if you want something that lowers the pressure to practice perfectly.
Yoga With Kassandra is the one I reach for when I want a calmer, more inward rhythm. Her yin classes are especially good for slower evenings, recovery days, or times when I want the practice to feel quieter and more restorative.
What I like each one for
Adriene is usually where I would send someone who wants a dependable home practice with a welcoming tone and plenty of entry points. Her videos make it easier to begin without building the whole thing into a production.
Kassandra is the recommendation I make when someone wants more yin, longer holds, or a practice that leans toward slowing down. Together, they cover most of what I want from online yoga: one channel for getting moving, one for settling in.
